i may not agree with everything she spews but at least mia is politically inclined. there was an article in the paper about how we have close to zero political pop starz and it’s fucking true. gaga thinks she’s controversial because she’s a skinny white girl telling everyone to love themselves? that’s the closest to ‘controversy’ the mainstream music biz has. mia is forever ridiculed for talking about politics and whatever is going on in the world but why isn’t she celebrated for that? why is nobody encouraging us to have an opinion? even underground acts will mostly say ‘i don’t subscribe to a single political party, i don’t feel the need to talk about it’ mostly for fear of looking stupid, a lesson they could have learnt from mia because every media source makes her out as a joke.
